Organisational Griffbereit

Key points Griffbereit-Group:

  • Type of event: multilingual parent-child activities

  • Number of participants: up to 8 parents/families per group
  • Rotation: regular 1 x per week (can also take place more frequently if there is a need among the families)

Role of parent guides:

It is important to pay attention to the linguistic competence of the parent guides. In the case of a double staffing, one of the two parent guides can be monolingual German if the second guide is multilingual and has a good command of German as a second language. The parent guides thus also ensure the consistent and reliable use of multilingualism in the group.

Multilingualism, migration-sensitive cooperation and open cooperation are qualities that the parent guides exemplify - also towards the parents/families. The impulses that are generated by the parent guides through the design of the Griffbereit-groups are set with playful activities, songs and suggestions, give parents/families new ideas and security for engaging with their children and strengthening the relationship in the family.

Qualification of parent guides:
The parent guides are prepared for their activities before the start of the programme (concept, goals and contents of the programme). Griffbereit-Programme[1]). Organisation of parent guides:
In addition to further training, regular support and counselling of the parent guides is necessary for exchange, reflection, evaluation and preparation and follow-up of the group work. After the introduction of the programme, regular exchange and reflection meetings should take place with all actors (approx. every 6 weeks).

Organisation Programme Coordinator:
