- Leadership: Ideally 2, but at least 1 person in the role of parent chaperone.
Role of parent guides:
It is important to pay attention to the linguistic competence of the parent guides. In the case of a double staffing, one of the two parent guides can be monolingual German if the second guide is multilingual and has a good command of German as a second language. The parent guides thus also ensure the consistent and reliable use of multilingualism in the group.
Multilingualism, migration-sensitive cooperation and open cooperation are qualities that the parent guides exemplify - also towards the parents/families. The impulses that are generated by the parent guides through the design of the Griffbereit-groups are set with playful activities, songs and suggestions, give parents/families new ideas and security for engaging with their children and strengthening the relationship in the family.
Qualification of parent guides:
The parent guides are prepared for their activities before the start of the programme (concept, goals and contents of the programme). Griffbereit-Programme[1]). Organisation of parent guides:
In addition to further training, regular support and counselling of the parent guides is necessary for exchange, reflection, evaluation and preparation and follow-up of the group work. The guidance and qualification accompanying the programme is adapted to the needs of the parent guides. After the introduction of the programme, regular exchange and reflection meetings should take place with all actors (approx. every 6 weeks).
Organisation Programme Coordinator:
The instructor takes over the introduction to the programme, the guidance in addressing and composing a Griffbereit-The group is responsible for the coordination of the group, the contact and consultation with the educational staff of the facility, the guidance of the parent guides and the training of the parent guides and the educational staff.
