Procedure griffbereitMINI

Procedure griffbereitMINI

How does griffbereitMINI work?

*Parents take up to the completion of the first year of life of their children with these 1 x per week (can also take place more frequently if there is a need among the families) at a griffbereitMINI-group. The programme is offered e.g. in day-care centres, family centres, other educational institutions and places such as pregnancy counselling centres, midwives' practices, etc., which are contact points for families.

characteristic of griffbereitMINI-Groups:

  • The *parent-child interaction (playing, singing etc.) is led by specially qualified group facilitators.
  • In the griffbereitMINI- Group two or more languages are always spoken: German AND the family language(s) of the participants.

Everyday materials are used to stimulate play, through which language development takes place in a playful way. *Parents learn in which situations they can accompany their child with language, which signals their child gives them for communication, etc. This gives them age- and development-appropriate suggestions that they can adopt in everyday life. In this way, they receive age- and developmentally appropriate suggestions that they can incorporate into everyday life. In addition, *parents can talk about all the topics that move them in a trusting environment.
