Griffbereit promotes early childhood development through toddler-friendly activities with parents/families, such as playing, singing or painting together in the family languages and in German. This creates an important foundation for the acquisition of language skills.
In doing so, the programme empowers the parents/families to be the actors themselves, as they are the first language role models and have the closest relationship with their children in everyday life.
In so-called GriffbereitIn the parent-teacher groups, they learn how to strengthen their children's general and linguistic development. They are supported by trained, mostly multilingual parent guides.
Toddlers with and without an international family history thus come into contact with German and other languages at a very early age. Thus offers Griffbereit the possibility of Multilingualism as a potential of the children to take up.
