As a sign of nationwide appreciation for the total of 1222 parent guides who work within the programmes Griffbereit <\/em>and Rucksack KiTa<\/em> a digital thank-you event took place on 14.09.22 for all those who are active in the field. In the run-up to the event, the federal transfer team, in cooperation with the ministry (MKJFGFI) and with the active support of all the coordination offices nationwide, had already sent all the parent guides a small gift for their tireless work. Thanks to the network-based support, a total of almost 400 people could be reached on the day of the event, many of whom participated in self-organised \"public viewings\". In addition to NRW, numerous participants from Lower Saxony, Berlin, Bavaria, Brandenburg, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg and Saxony took part in the digital event.<\/p>\n

Miriam Weilbrenner<\/strong> (MKJFGFI) introduced the vote of thanks with her appreciative and respectful greeting - with the main focus on the individual work performance of each and every parent facilitator. Special mention was made of the many creative approaches to solutions and the personal commitment to maintaining the groups despite the difficult conditions caused by the pandemic and the war in Ukraine. In addition, the nationwide perspectives, opportunities and outlooks for the programmes were pointed out.<\/p>\n

Subsequently presented Prof. Dr Timm Albers<\/strong> (University of Paderborn) with his target group specific lecture \"You are indispensable for my family: parent guides as a bridge to families\".<\/em> <\/strong>The book clearly demonstrated the indispensable role that parent guides play in the active implementation and nationwide success of the programmes. With the help of several authentic interview passages and many practical examples, the protective function of the parent guides was repeatedly made clear in addition to their bridging function. The current reference in the context of refugee experiences, the effects of the Corona pandemic as a \"burning glass on educational and participation opportunities in Germany\" and an overview of the nationwide shortage of qualified educators provided a well-founded introduction to the topic.<\/p>\n

Karin Bl\u00fcmcke<\/strong> (PERSPEKTIVwechsel Institute) was able to convince with her impulse lecture \"Strong parent guides - strong families!<\/em><\/strong> directly linked to the content. Through an interactive survey initiated in advance, it was possible to determine that the current situation, which is characterised by uncertainty, weighs on the individual mood of 92% of all participants. This is exactly where the thematic focus was set: to consolidate the perception, confidence and self-optimisation of the parent guides through many practical examples. The subsequent workshop aimed at increasing individual well-being. In addition to many practical exercises that can be easily integrated into the everyday life and work of the parent guides with the families, the focus was primarily on confidence, courage and identifying energy filling points. In addition, a protected space for personal exchange was made possible within \"breakout sessions\" to reflect on the impressions and experiences gathered.<\/p>\n

Finally, there was already an exciting outlook into the future: As already in 2019 in M\u00fcnster, a nationwide attendance event for all parent guides is being planned for the end of 2023 or the beginning of 2024.<\/p>\n
