The Ministry for Children, Youth, Family, Equality, Refugees and Integration (MKJFGFI), the Centre for Turkish Studies and Integration Research (ZfTI) and the Auridis Foundation will continue their successful cooperation and the established structures for the federal transfer for a further two years.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In a further funding phase from 1 April 2024, all structures established around the coordination level and the quality assurance processes are to be sustainably consolidated, the implementation sites expanded and the technical and content-related cooperation in the network of state coordination centres (LaKos) intensified. The established nationwide quality assurance and effective public presence will therefore be of central importance for the further development of the programme. In addition, there will be strategic and specialised political communication at foundation, state and federal level as well as communication at education administration level. This area will be further strengthened in cooperation with the permanent LaKos in order to create the best possible framework conditions for the gradual transfer of tasks to the nationwide network.<\/p>\n

The programmes currently reach around 9,500 children and 8,500 families nationwide and almost 6,400 children and 5,800 families in NRW, providing support in over 30 languages in addition to German. Nationwide cooperation and the transfer of the programmes from NRW to other federal states has been supported by the Auridis Foundation since 2017. The MKJFGFI finances the programmes in NRW with 1.8 million euros annually and supports them in terms of content and expertise. The programmes are implemented very successfully in 52 of the 54 municipal integration centres in North Rhine-Westphalia and are coordinated by a LaKo in Berlin, Brandenburg, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Lower Saxony and Saxony. Comparable networking structures are also to be initiated by the federal transfer team with technical support from the MKJFGFI in the other federal states with programme implementation in Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg, Bremen, Schleswig-Holstein and Bavaria.<\/p>\n

griffbereitMINI, Griffbereit and Rucksack KiTa combine the approach of multilingual education with a concept of diversity-conscious work with families and their children from birth to the age of six. \"The programmes are tried and tested in practice and have positive effects for children and families. They reach the target group and are highly accepted by families. The flexible structure facilitates implementation according to individual local conditions. The programmes work on different levels: Language education, integration, organisational development, family education and social space orientation\" <\/em>(Prof Dr Timm Albers, University of Paderborn).<\/p>\n
