The \"fathers\" of the programme, Markus Jentzsch (Youth Welfare Office \/ City of Dortmund) and Philipp Tilmann (MIA-DO - Municipal Integration Centre of the City of Dortmund), together with numerous cooperation partners from Dortmund and North Rhine-Westphalia, were pleased to be able to offer a programme for continuous, everyday integrated language education for the youngest children under the motto \"Together from the beginning\".<\/p>\n
The idea for this concept was already born in 2017. Families should be brought into contact with an educational institution as early as possible. They are made aware of the importance of early language education - taking multilingualism into account - as the basis for a successful educational career. In addition, they are given space for exchange among themselves as well as information on desired topics.<\/p>\n
In addition to the Ministry for Children, Youth, Family, Equality, Refugees and Integration of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia (MKJFGFI), cooperation partners from within and outside the city administration as well as the two districts of Coesfeld and Wesel were involved in the development.<\/p>\n
Thanks to the support of the MKJFGFI, the project could be scientifically evaluated and further developed into a nationwide programme.<\/p>\n
In addition to the offers in Dortmund, the district of Coesfeld and the district of Wesel, other municipalities are preparing the offers at various locations.<\/p>\n
